The 2009 CHOGM Essay Competition came to a close on September 28th with significant support from tertiary students across Trinidad and Tobago. Students quickly grasped the opportunity to have their voices heard on the pressing issues that will be discussed at the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Port of Spain from the 27th-29th November. They discussed issues related to the Environment, Health, Energy, Poverty, Tourism and the Economy.
